04 - 1/4 cup candy corn
05 - 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips
06 - 1/4 cup orange jelly beans or orange M&Ms
07 - 1/4 cup pretzel sticks
08 - 1/4 cup red licorice strings
09 - 2 large marshmallows
10 - 6–8 mini chocolate cookies (e.g., mini Oreos)
11 - 1/4 cup shredded coconut, tinted yellow with food coloring
12 - 1/4 cup chocolate sprinkles
13 - 1/4 cup assorted gummy candies
# Method:
01 - Place the large sugar cookie or rice cake on a serving platter to form the face.
02 - Spread an even layer of frosting over the surface. Swirl in peanut butter if using.
03 - Arrange the tinted shredded coconut along the top and sides of the cookie to resemble straw hair.
04 - Line mini chocolate cookies above the hair, using a marshmallow for the hat's tip if desired.
05 - Use chocolate chips or candies for the eyes. Optionally, slice a marshmallow in half and place a chocolate chip in the center of each half for larger eyes.
06 - Arrange orange jelly beans or M&Ms in a triangle shape to create the nose.
07 - Use red licorice strings to form a smiling mouth.
08 - Place round gummy candies on the cheeks for color.
09 - Surround the base with candy corn and additional gummies for a festive effect.
10 - Use pretzel sticks to form a bow tie beneath the face.
11 - Scatter chocolate sprinkles over the decoration for extra detail. Serve immediately or cover until ready to present.
