Save Delightful no-bake treats featuring chocolate-covered Oreo cookies transformed into adorable snowmen—perfect for festive gatherings, kids parties, or a whimsical winter dessert.
Making these Oreo Snowman Pops has become a joyful tradition in my family each winter—kids love helping with the decorating.
Ingredients
- Cookies: 12 Oreo cookies (or any chocolate sandwich cookies)
- Coating & Decorations: 225 g (8 oz) white chocolate or white candy melts, 24 mini chocolate chips (for eyes), 12 orange sprinkle or mini orange candies (for noses), 36 mini chocolate chips or black sprinkles (for mouths), 12 red or green candy-coated chocolates (for earmuffs), 6 licorice strings or fruit leather strips (for scarves), 12 paper lollipop sticks
Instructions
- Step 1:
- Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- Step 2:
- Carefully insert a lollipop stick into the center of each Oreo cookie, twisting gently to avoid breaking the cookie.
- Step 3:
- Melt the white chocolate or candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl in 20-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
- Step 4:
- Dip each Oreo pop into the melted chocolate, coating fully. Let excess drip off, then place on the prepared tray.
- Step 5:
- While the coating is still wet, decorate: Place 2 mini chocolate chips as eyes. Add an orange candy for the nose. Arrange 3 mini chocolate chips or sprinkles in a curve to form the mouth. Add candy-coated chocolates to each side of the head for earmuffs, connecting with a small loop of licorice or fruit leather. Tie a strip of licorice or fruit leather around the stick as a scarf.
- Step 6:
- Let the pops set at room temperature or refrigerate until the coating is firm (about 15 minutes).
- Step 7:
- Serve and enjoy!
Save These pops always bring smiles when we make them together as a family each holiday season.
