Recipe Guide
- → How do I ensure the chicken stays juicy during roasting?
Pat the chicken thighs dry before seasoning, roast at a high temperature (425°F), and avoid overcooking by using a meat thermometer to check for 165°F internal temperature.
- → Can I substitute the chicken thighs with other cuts?
Yes, boneless thighs or breasts can be used, but cooking times should be adjusted accordingly to prevent drying out.
- → What is the best way to caramelize the sweet potatoes evenly?
Toss the sweet potatoes in olive oil and seasoning, spread them in a single layer, and avoid overcrowding on the baking sheet to promote even roasting and caramelization.
- → How can I make this dish dairy-free?
Replace the melted butter in the maple glaze with an equal amount of olive oil to keep it dairy-free without compromising flavor.
- → What herbs complement the maple glaze best?
Fresh thyme leaves are included in the glaze for warmth and earthiness, and garnish with extra thyme for enhanced aroma and flavor.
