# Components:

→ Korean BBQ Chicken

01 - 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, thinly sliced
02 - 2 tablespoons soy sauce
03 - 1 tablespoon gochujang (Korean chili paste)
04 - 1 tablespoon honey
05 - 1 tablespoon sesame oil
06 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
07 - 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
08 - 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
09 - 1 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds
10 - 2 scallions, thinly sliced

→ Wraps

11 - 4 large flour tortillas
12 - 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
13 - 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
14 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
15 - 2 tablespoons scallions, thinly sliced
16 - 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds

# Method:

01 - Combine soy sauce, gochujang, honey, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and rice vinegar in a bowl. Add sliced chicken and marinate for at least 15 minutes.
02 - Heat a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add marinated chicken and cook for 4 to 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until fully cooked and caramelized. Stir in sesame seeds and scallions. Remove from heat.
03 - Lay tortillas flat. On one half of each tortilla, evenly sprinkle mozzarella and cheddar cheeses, then spoon a generous portion of the cooked chicken mixture. Top with extra scallions and a pinch of toasted sesame seeds.
04 - Fold each tortilla over into a half-moon shape to encase the filling.
05 - Preheat a clean skillet or grill pan over medium heat. Lightly brush the exterior of each wrap with softened butter.
06 - Cook each wrap for 2 to 3 minutes per side, pressing gently until the exterior is golden brown and the cheese inside has melted.
07 - Remove wraps from heat, let rest for 1 minute, then slice and serve immediately while warm.

# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • It tastes like restaurant-quality Korean BBQ but comes together in your regular kitchen without any fancy equipment.
  • The cheese-to-chicken ratio is dangerously addictive, and that crispy, buttery exterior is absolutely impossible to resist.
  • You can prep the marinade while your coffee brews, then cook everything in the time it takes to set the table.
02 -
  • Don't skip the marinade time; even 15 minutes makes a real difference in how much flavor the chicken absorbs, and the gochujang needs those minutes to mellow slightly.
  • Medium heat on the grill is your friend here—crank it to high and your wrap will char before the cheese melts, turn it down too low and it'll get soggy instead of crispy.
03 -
  • Slice your chicken while it's slightly frozen; it's so much easier to get even, thin slices that cook quickly and evenly.
  • Don't cheap out on the sesame oil or gochujang; these two ingredients carry the entire flavor profile, so whatever you choose has a direct impact on how good this tastes.
